Senior IT Systems Architect, Corporate IT

Job Summary

The Senior IT Systems Architect supports the Chief Information Officer in developing and implementing IT strategies, managing IT projects, training relevant stakeholders, documenting system configurations and processes, and ensuring operational alignment.

This role involves:

1. To assist the Chief Information Officer in the development of Strategic and Operational direction of Information Technology Infrastructure.
2. Provide assistance in the troubleshooting and resolution of network, data center, and cloud issues impacting the greater organization.
3. When applicable, travel with (and occasionally on behalf of) CIO to visit each entity.
4. Provide support with any projects or troubleshoot any IT issues as assigned by CIO.
5. Providing support with any projects or troubleshoot any IT issues as assigned by supervisor.
6. Develop knowledge sharing resources for various stakeholder groups.

Qualifications and requirements

1. Experience running all aspects of IT in an enterprise multisite environment
2. Able to synthesize complex information and present in a clear and logical manner
3. Work within time constraints to provide answers on a just-in-time basis
4. Creates diagrams, workflows, and other tools to clearly demonstrate abstract concepts
5. Applies a cybersecurity mindset to all aspects of IT and can advise on compliance with legal regulations for technology
6. Able take initiative on leading projects, self-motivate, while at the same time involving Global Director of IT and IT subject matter experts as necessary
7. Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience
8. Preferred certifications: CISSP; ITIL Foundations or higher; PMP; AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar; CompTIA certifications; relevant Microsoft certifications; Cisco certifications
