Finance Manager
Job summary
Responsible for supervising general finance/accounting procedures and practices. Prepares and monitors budget and forecast. Develops and revises finance and accounting systems, procedures, and controls. Ensures that the customer service of the finance office is consistently at a high level through communication and training of finance staff. This role involves:
- Setting up accounting policies, procedures, systems, payment, and controls.
- Managing the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and management reports.
- Preparing and monitoring the budget, and forecasting expenditure, revenues, and cash flows.
- Managing fixed assets.
- Ensuring adherence to all control policies and procedures.
- Assisting with all internal and external audits.
- Managing tax payments based on the required guidelines.
- Managing fund transfer between lifePlus entities.
- Overseeing the training and development of the staff.
- Carrying out other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Qualifications and requirements
Has a Bachelor’s Degree in finance or accounting, with a needed accounting certificate and 3-5 years’ experience. Has good computer skills and accounting-related software skills. Has managerial skills with sensitivity to unique and multicultural perspectives. Has a good command of English and Chinese for Chinese national staff.
