Group Director of HR
Job summary
Serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, shaping and implementing LifePlus’ people strategy in alignment with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic imperatives. Provide group oversight and governance for all HR systems, policies, and practices across LifePlus entities worldwide, ensuring excellence, compliance, and unity in all people-related functions. This role involves:
- Lead global HR governance to organizational structures, systems, and processes.
- Oversee the development and implementation of HR policies across LifePlus (UAE, China, USA, and other locations).
- Develop, publish, and maintain all LifePlus handbooks.
- Provide strategic oversight for compensation, benefits, and contract management.
- Direct HRIS design, structure, and data governance, ensuring data integrity, accurate reporting, and cross-entity accountability.
- Work with Mobilization leadership to ensure mission-fit recruitment.
- Provide functional leadership support to regional HR Directors and staff.
- Partner with Finance and Legal to manage HR budgets, benefits, contracts, and risk mitigation across all entities.
- Lead major HR initiatives, policy reforms, and organizational change projects as needed.
- Champion professional development, performance management, and leadership coaching for senior leaders and HR teams.
- Represent LifePlus in internal and external partnerships, promoting unity and excellence in all people-related initiatives.
Qualifications and requirements
- Alignment with LifePlus’ mission, vision, and values.
- Minimum 10 years of HR leadership, with at least 10 years in a senior, international, or multi-entity environment.
- Advanced degree in HR, Organizational Development, or related field.
- Proven track record in strategic HR leadership, organizational development, and systems integration.
- Strong understanding of international labor laws and compliance frameworks.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical ability, and organizational acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with sensitivity to cross-cultural contexts.
- Proven ability to drive systems alignment, policy compliance, and organizational change.
- High proficiency in English; Arabic and Chinese language ability is advantageous.
- Able to build collaborative relationships and influence groups and individuals.
