Head of School, School Administration

Job summary

Is responsible for working closely with LifePlus leadership, leading the planning, executing and evaluating of all programs necessary to fulfill the school’s mission, and that of LifePlus.

This role involves:
Advocating for the School’s vision and values, creating a positive learning environment, and administering the school in accordance with the philosophy, policies and procedures adopted by LifePlus. It requires overseeing the School Leadership team, planning, supporting and leading school events, directing the daily operation of the school, and providing coaching and mentoring. This role needs to prepare the annual budgets, oversee HR issues, build good communication with parents, and provide leadership in obtaining and maintaining accreditation. Additionally, this role also provides long term plan with cooperation with other LifePlus leaders, utilizes feedback in the evaluation of instructional programs and school practices, represents the school in government relations, and carries out other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications and requirements:
Has a Master’s Degree in education administration or 2 years’ experience as a divisional principal. Has a 5 years’ experience in teaching and 3 years in leadership, with maturity and high standards of professionalism. Embraces LifePlus’ vision, mission and strategy. Is able to work with sensitivity to unique and multicultural perspectives. Is able to plan, organize, execute and evaluate in a broad range of educational settings, including strategic planning, teacher development and curricular development.
